Character transformation/morph animation

hey everyone. 🙂 I'm new to this, but in my search of the forum, youtube, etc... I haven't found quite what I'm looking for. I'm wondering if it is possible to animate transformation in spine? For instance a character that changes from a man into a werewolf or some other creature/thing? or would this be something that would have to be animated and imported, already done? Thanks for the help.

You could both import it or somehow do it in Spine, Meshes allow deforming an image attachment with great control and detail, so you could play with alpha and the pieces that need to morph and this could definitely come out nicely.

By alpha, do you mean fade one layers transparency out while fading the other layer in? thanks

Yes, I meant that 🙂
You can also just play a png sequence while it fades, it's up to how you plan your animation 🙂
