Export project data to project home folder
Hello,
In Spine 3.6 you introduced new save/export dialog. So when I do export spine set to export path the latest directory from favorites. It is good if I want to store all my data in one folder. But in some cases I need export to the project home folder. So I need press "export" then press "favorites" and find my home folder over many other places.
I guess home folder should have priority under other paths. And user could select some option if he wants export to project home without any other manipulations.
Thanks
P.S. Thanks for sound support. The next most wanted feature is the rulers/guides. I saw it in the spine roadmap. Hope to see it in a release build soon.
You can mark your home folder as a favorite by clicking the star icon next to it. By default the desktop on Windows and the home folder on Mac/Linux should be a favorite.
I open a project created earlier before 3.6 release. So in this case after export Spine offers the last used directory for export. And the home directory is somewhere in the list. Ok I select the home directory. Next I open an another project and do it again.
It is good for new projects but not comfortable for old ones.
Also I have just seen that "Save project as" set the home directory on the top of list but when I do an export - no.
Did you click the star?
The files and folders shown are specific to the actions: open project, export, etc. Starred folders are shown on all.
Yes, I did.
I am talking that earlier I made two actions: press "export", press "ok". Now when I open old project and make the same two actions it will export project to folder which is not expected (folder from previous data exporting). It is not a bug. But it brakes a usual scenario of work with old projects.
