I'm using an animation approach similar to that described by Klei in this video
A big part of that approach is being able to define "breakdowns" for specific joints
shoulder, arm, hand // thigh, leg, foot // etc.
Consider the arm, hand and sword for a horizontal slashing animation. I want to have the warmup pose, where the weapon is forward, then I want the arm to come back (breakdown showing the weapon held perpendicular to the body), then it rotates back gathering power, so more breakdowns showing the inside of the arm (and hand and sword).
Is this supported by Spine?
I see you guys have Skins, but that seems to be a full swap. As in I have a Goblin and I can use the Grunt or Captain skin, but I can't make the Goblin's Shoulders use the Captain's Shoulders, while the rest of him remains Grunt. Correct me if I'm misunderstanding.
Any clarification and a pointer to documentation on how to handle these kind of breakdowns would be greatly appreciated.
