PSD Script export to Spine
Hi all!,
So I wonder if it's just an overload or maybe the script is not optimized.
I have a PSD file that has +380 layers of different pieces of my main protagonist so I can export them all in different skins, groups, etc. (use the full potential of the script). The thing is that it takes toooo much to do all that the script do: resize, crop, export, resize, etc.
Is there any way to do this faster or I just have to wait until the script finishes? or is it that photoshop uses too much resources?
If I use a file that has 28 layers for example it doesn't take too much or it doesn't freeze every while, but with this file I have it just takes forever to "render" everything.
Thanks!
Photoshop doesn't have the most efficient ways of scripting the operations. It's something like duplicate the PSD, delete the layers that aren't needed, crop, save, repeat for each layer. It's possible the script could be more efficient, though I've never used on such a large PSD.
Thanks for the answer!, I've already finished exporting and it doesn't take more than 5 hours (is not that bad and is just for the protagonist, every other npc or enemy will not have that amount of detail)
Many thanks!
