Isometric animated character
How could I accomplish that ? What is the best to start with ? Draw 8 images with different angles and animate them ? Or use 4 images top, left, right, bottom and bend them with meshes to the other close angles? Is it possible to warp a complete head with a skin and make it bend left and right if it's facing default front?
Thanks for reading.
No idea?
It would be easier and will have a better result if you separate your character in different parts and create a Skeleton around it. Also, you can re-use the same asset for different angles. So it's more optimised that way.
If you use just one image for each angles, you're going to be limited and quality is not the same.

More work but nicer quality, it's up to you. Good luck!
OK thanks . btw cool cat looks realy good
Hi Pag,
I am also trying to do this on my project, love the cat, trying to do something just like it.
Would you mind going into more detail on the process for our learning? Thanks
Hi,
To be honest, I didn't designed totally the style of the character but I build this customizable avatar for an MMO 5 years a go for the licence Littlest Pet Shop.
You can see how the character move in this video:

It's an old setup not made with Spine at that time but I would use almost the same structure again. In fact, I'm currently building an other customizable character for our next game, this time using Spine.
I'm willing to give you some advice but I don't know from where you start. Do you have your character already?
oh it's looks good.
i'm creating with isometic.. but it's not easy
could you give me any tips to create charaters by isometric view?
how many using bones? or ik? or mesh.....
i'm creating with webgl5. so i can't use hard due to performance
thx..
I don't have that much time to go through the explanation of the whole process but I found this that might help you.
Start with the design of your character, don't think too much about the bones for now. But seriously, you have already plenty of ressources on the internet, just google it! Bild entfernt wegen fehlender Unterstützung für HTTPS. | Trotzdem zeigen
Feel free to share with us your progress and images of your character design. From that, it will be easier to help you.

Hi Thanks for the reply. You can check the file. i face jerks in my animations. Also give me tips how make my animation smooth. i also want to make a character breathing animation guide me.
Also i tried to make a jump animation by watching jump frames but it become worst animation. i am very worried i want to learn spine as soon as possible.
i tried 1 more walk animation you can check
Hi, I can open your Spine files but you didn't include the images so I don't see your character.
But honestly, Søren Nielsen already cover all you questions in his tutorial videos. Have you checked his tutorial videos before?
For the rest, you need to be patient. There is no magic buttons to create beautiful animations. Spine is just a tool. You need to learn those animation principles. Squash and Stretch, overlapping, anticipation, arcs, exaggeration, good posing, ect...
I put image of animation when i make it but the size and shape of my character is different. i need a diagram image which i can set.
