crash on start up
I had a few invalid hot key thingies (for shear tool, as I downgraded). I then set the ui scale to max. forgot I did that, come into work, launch spine, and it opens for 1ms, then closes
its solved now by removing the two hot keys

If you downgrade from v3 to v2 it will crash due to an unfortunate bug in v2. Just start it again.
no, it kept crashing, I couldn't open it. I checked the log, that's what gave me the hint about the hot keys. I was already on V2 when I changed the ui scale

I went from 3.2 to 3.1 and it complains about the hotkeys but works fine:

The invalid hotkeys shouldn't cause a crash. I'm guess it was something else. Is the spine.log you posted from immediately after the crash?
I got the above popup, didn't crash until I changed the scale. did you make the ui scale 300?

Ah, right. I really didn't expect the scale to be able to cause a crash, but you're right, scale of 300 with v3.1.00 crashed! it happens between when the launcher is done and when the editor window should appear. Since the process just stops without error, I'm really confused as to what it can be. It doesn't happen with 3.2.01 though, so I guess there is nothing to fix.
maybe scale screws up popup window (the hotkey window is being scaled funky)
