Spine crashing when creating a skin place holder

Hello everyone.

First time posting in this forum, hope i'm posting my question correctly. Also, i'm new on Spine, just started working with the program 2 days ago.

here's what happening:

open any spine project
click on the root
click "new skin place holder"
write skin place holder name
click "ok" and the progran crashes.

We are aware of this bug: Crash when creating bounding box
Nate is away for a while so he can't fix it for the next few days.

But we've found that in a number of cases, this crash was just cause by the slots hidden in the Tree. For now, make sure you enable slots in the tree.

In any case, every attachment should belong in a slot so you need to make sure a slot is selected when you add an image, mesh, skin placeholder or bounding box attachment.
