Spine Editor crash on Start (OSX El Caption)
- Bearbeitet
The error shown isn't a problem. It won't be shown in the next launcher version. Did the Spine window open?
No, Spine editor shows loading till 99% then loading window goes and it remains that way. I had to force quit the editor. IN activity monitor Spine is shown as Not responding. I removed and installed it again. But same problem. Is there anything more i can do to clean install or any recovery steps?
You can try deleting the ~/Library/Application Support/Spine/
directory. You may need to reach the directory by using cmd+shift+G in Finder. The directory contains preferences and update files for Spine. Deleting it will cause Spine to use the default settings and to download a new update.
Since Spine appears to start successfully, I'm at a loss as to what could be the issue. If you are somewhat tech savvy, you can download a 64-bit JDK, find the PID of the Spine process that isn't responding, then run the jstack
tool from the JDK using that PID. This will dump a bunch of data which you can pose here or email to contact@esotericsoftware.com.
Sorry you are having such trouble!
when ever i launch spine it loads up with no problem, but there has been times that I'm working in it for a bit and then it quits on its own and then gives me a error log to what happened. mostly half the time it does this. Scared that i might be working on a huge project and then didn't get to save a part of it on time cause it force quits
