Could We Have More Spine 4.3 Example Projects?

Hello Spine team,

First of all, thank you for the amazing work on Spine 4.3! I've been really enjoying the new features.

I have one small request regarding the example projects. Would it be possible to provide more Spine 4.3 example projects?

At the moment, the Diamond project is the only example available. It would be incredibly helpful if some of the other beautiful projects showcased in the 4.3 release blog could also be released as example projects. Seeing how they were rigged and animated would be a great learning resource for users.

You can download the Spine project for Ogle, the “one-eyed guy” character featured in the top banner, here:

We plan to add details about Ogle to the Spine Examples page at a later date, but we haven't had time to do so yet.

We hadn't specifically planned to release the Spine project files for the clock and muscle animations, but would you like us to release them as well?

Of course! I'm especially curious about the clock animation. I'd love to see how you used sliders to achieve that distinctive ticking motion with a bit of overshoot/rebound. I think that would be an incredibly valuable learning resource.

The arm setup would also be very helpful to study!

As a bit of explanation:
the animation "muscle-idle" uses the slider and works well with it.
Delete the slider constraint "muscle-slider" and you'll be able to see "muscle-pre-slider" working again.

Basically, I used "muscle-pre-slider" as a test animation of how I wanted the whole range of motion to look.
I then duplicated it and removed the arm rotation keys in "muscle-slider"
As for the slider, I connected it to the rotation of the forearm, setting the mix and max based on the keys in the animation.

As the very last bit I did an idle using that slider to make the flexing a bit more lively!

Thank you so much for sharing these amazing resources!

The clock project was especially impressive—it completely lived up to my expectations. I was amazed by how meticulously everything was put together. The structure felt just like the intricate gears of a real clock, with every part working together so precisely.

Seeing this has made me even more excited about what will be possible with Spine 4.3. I can't wait to explore these new capabilities in my own projects.
