Is the GimpToSpine plugin going to be adapted to gimp3? It looks like at the very least, it's moved to python3. I tried doing some automated script migration (2to3) and putting the script in a subdirectory, but still couldn't get it working.

The GimpToSpine plugin is based on user-contributed scripts, and unfortunately, the Spine team does not have expertise in GIMP scripting, which makes it challenging to update the script for GIMP 3.0. The plugin currently only supports the [ignore] tag, and other tags available in PhotoshopToSpine are not supported. While there is no official update for GIMP 3.0, you might consider using the new PSD import feature in Spine, which does not require Photoshop scripts. Alternatively, you could explore using Krita, which has an unofficial export plugin for Spine.
