Heavydust Ah, I understand. As the name of the hotkey type “Brush” indicates, the Brush+ and Brush- hotkeys only affects the size of the brush. Since there is no concept of a brush in Direct mode, it is as expected that the parameters for Direct mode cannot be changed from the brush hotkey. I'm not sure exactly what you want to do with the Direct mode. When you use this mode, you first need to select the vertices using the mouse, but then do you want to use hotkeys to control which bones' weights you want to give?
