Sorry the server could not be contacted
Can't get spine to launch: "Sorry, the server could not be contacted. Please check your internet connection and any firewall settings that may be blocking Spine".
It worked fine 2 days ago when I last launched it and I haven't changed any settings with respect to the firewall. I disabled the firewall but spine still wouldn't launch. Have tried a bunch of other things but no dice. About to try reinstalling unless anyone has any suggestions?
Seems exactly the same as this issue: Can not log into Spine. Was working one day and not the next. But nothing changed.
Sorry you are having trouble! Due to a certificate expiration, you'll need to download and reinstall Spine, else it can't reach the server.
If you can't find your Spine license page, you can use the license recovery page:

Sorry! It was a big mistake on our part, especially that the error message is misleading. You would have gotten a better message before mid-February, but after that your Spine installation couldn't reach the server, and that is all it knows. It shouldn't have happened and we've ensured it won't happen again. Please note future updates will require reinstallation, but only when/if you want to move to the latest editor versions.
