saving spine files for previous version

Hi,
is it possible to save a spine file for a previous version? or even export a .json to be used by a previous version?
I have a file that got updated to latest but I need to save it back to a previous version (that is was created in) due to runtime incompatibilities.

thankfully spine auto backup was able to help me out here.
But it would be a nice feature to have for future builds. :grinteeth:

Unfortunately it's not possible to save a project for an older editor version. Note for versions like a.b.c, it's always safe to update if only c changes, but care should be taken if a or b change.

To be honest I was just too excited about some of the new features in 3.8 and jump in head first.
