Glitch with the bones constrained to the path
- Bearbeitet
Did anyone encounter problem like this?
I use a path with several bones constrained to it with 5 spacing I am having glitches in animation.
P.S. I also added bigger bones and bound those to the path vertices so actually the bigger ones are animating.
What is the problem? What am I looking for in the GIF?
Sorry, the gif was cut at the end.
The rotation of the first bone in the chain jumps up and down, even in setup pose when I drag the path's first vertex. Don't know how to avoid this. Tried re-constraining the bones, played with constrains spacing parameter, but nothing.
any suggestions?
Thank you for your time.
Hello, did you already change tangent
to chain scale
in the constraint settings?
because it looks like it:
Path Constraints - Spine User Guide: Rotate mode
Thank you Erika you are always helpful, changing to chain fixed the glitch, but even with the tangent mode shouldn't it work properly?
It looks like your dino has fleas.
Tangent mode uses the path direction at that point along the path. There may be something going wrong in the math, but we've not seen it spasm like that. Could you post or email the project file? We don't need the images, and you could even delete the rest of the rig if you want.

Should have thrown the garbage

Thanks, we've fixed the problem and it will soon be in the runtimes.
Thank you very much
