Hi, I just upgraded my computer and sold the one I had before. As I reinstalled Spine on my new computer, I remembered I had not logged out or deactivated the license on my old computer before I removed the hard drive.

As a result, I can no longer access/launch the old spine software even when connected to the old hard drive on my current computer.

Would it be possible to deactivate that license in my older hard drive, which contains the spine that I can no longer launch, so that I can use it in the future if I need it on another laptop?

Hi,

The Spine license system will automatically log out of the old computer when you activate Spine on a new computer, so you should have no problem installing and using Spine on your new computer. Could you tell us specifically what error message you received when you tried to activate Spine?

Oh no, I'm not getting any error messages. I just realized today I hadn't logged out of Spine before I removed the hard drive.Oh no, I'm not getting any error messages. I just realized today I hadn't logged out of Spine before I removed the hard drive.

It is good to know that the older computer will be automatically logged out when spine is activated on a new one.

Thank you so much!
